2/13 to 2/17 week recap

This week Barron's is offering a free open house. I dont however like their article on Google. I think the pendulum however is swinging the other way to Google.

2/17 mad money summary NWL (Newell Rubbermaid) is like HPQ when Mark Hurd took over and has dividend of 3.6%, DRS a defence stock, recently got a big order, GPS is read for turn-around and PTIE CEO on the show promoting their pain medicine coming out in 2008.

2/16 mad money summary Diageo ( american express of liquor) DEO, Indian stocks TTM (Tata Motors), RDY (Reddys Labs) (wow lot of indian companies from Jim Cramer), McDermott International( MDR ) a coal play and women's health stock CYTC.

Note: Barron's effect on Google seems to wear off as GOOG is up 24 today.

2/15 mad money summary Footwear maker Crocs CROX, Visage, a facial feature identification company but has more stuff now with identix merger(VISG). Tandberg, a Norwegian company (TAT.No), not for me though and CRDN CEO on the show. My interest is in VISG and CRDN.

2/14 mad money summary Calipers (CALP) a company that helps drugmakers develop drugs, Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), a natural gas company. Also, herb greenberg is on the show tonight talking down FLIR which seems to be liked by Cramer. STX and MXO could benefit from merger due to reduced competetion. Calipers looks interesting.

2/13 mad money summary ARNA (Arena Pharmaceuticals) on obesity drug, Adidas ( like AMD to Intel is a stock that is beating/or will beat Nike) and MNCP (Motient has more spectrum than anybody but Cingular).
